Life Sometimes life takes us in unexpected directions. I'm now living in New York, teaching at a high school in Queens, and chasing after a three year old grandchild. My daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after her baby was born and I moved here immediately to help her while she underwent treatment. Her strengt...Expand for more
h and courage have been pehnomenal - Kiersten amazes me almost every day. She is now in an experimental program which is providing great hope. I visit California when I can and think fondly of Sacramento High. Keep us in your thoughts! Sadly, Kiersten passed away five months ago. She leaves a tremendous hole in our hearts.
